Erie First Presbyterian Church
A partial list of programs we support through our time and giving:
All levels of the denomination:
· Boxes of needed items are sent to military personnel stationed overseas.
· School and classroom supplies are provided for adopted a Head Start classroom.
· Non-perishable food items are available in our food closet for folks in time of emergency need.
· Activity squares and lapaghans are made and donated to nursing home residents.

· Local families are adopted at Thanksgiving and Christmas and provided with full dinners. At Christmas time gifts were also provided.
· Personnel hygiene and care items continue to be collected, then given to area emergency shelters.
· Hats, mittens and scarves are distributed to area children who don’t have them.
· Funds are sent to the Maumee Valley Presbytery, Synod of the Covenant, and General Assembly to support local and worldwide mission work.
· Participate in the “Operation Christmas Child”, a project of Samaritan’s Purse.
· Twice a year we put on a fund-raising dinner offering good home-cooking and fellowship as a service to our community and to support church operations.
· Participate in an ecumenical Lenten worship series.
